Ronald E. Williams is the Founder and Director of Hephzibah House, Inc., a Christian Boarding School for troubled girls. The mission headquarters has been located in Winona Lake, Indiana, since 1971, the year of its organization. Dr. Williams is also Pastor Emeritus of Believers Baptist Church, an independent, fundamental, separated church fellowship under which Hephzibah House operates.

Dr. Williams served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves from 1960 to 1966.

He was educated at the State University of South Dakota at Vermillion and Augustana College (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), earning the Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History with a minor in Russian in 1964. He worked as a Public Health Advisor with the National Venereal Disease Control Program of the United States Public Health Service for seven years. He also studied at Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana. He earned the certificate in Biblical Studies in May, 1977, and the Master of Divinity (cum laude) from Grace in 1979. While at Grace Seminary, he was awarded the annual Glenn Russell Fink Award in expository preaching (1978).

In 1987, Brother Williams was honored by the Great Plains Baptist College, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where they conferred upon him an honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree. In 1989, Fairhaven Baptist College, Chesterton, Indiana, presented the “Fighting Fundamentalist of the Year” award to Pastor Williams.

Because of his practical experience in “picking up the pieces” of homes and families for so many years, the preaching of Pastor Williams emphasizes the Christian home and family. Dr. Williams is also active in the field of evangelism. His preaching, itinerary and deputation work has taken him into many fundamental churches, colleges, universities, Bible schools, Christian high schools, missions conferences, educators’ conferences and pastors’ conferences.

He is the speaker/teacher on the weekly 15-minute radio broadcast “The Voice of Hephzibah House.” He has written several booklets and tracts on home and family-related themes. Dr. Williams has taken specialized training in Biblical counseling.

Following the death of his wife, Patti, in 2011, Brother Williams married Glenda Curtiss in 2014. He has 44 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Pastor Don Williams graduated from Hyles-Anderson College in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Theology. He served as Assistant Pastor in Believers Baptist Church in Warsaw, Indiana for 11 years and since 1998, has been the Senior Pastor.

He also has served as an assistant to the director of Hephzibah House since 1987.

He also directs the BBC Scripture ministry, which collates and distributes Bibles, New Testaments, and Scripture portions around the world. The HH are blessed to help out in this ministry.

He and his wife, Wenda, reside in Warsaw, Indiana, and have 10 children and 14 grandchildren.

Pastor Dave Halyaman is an assistant Director of Hephzibah House, and Assistant Pastor at Believers Baptist Church in Warsaw, Indiana and has held these positions since 1990.

Brother Halyaman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from California State University Los Angeles in 1978, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Theology from Hyles-Anderson College in 1987. He earned an Associate of Arts degree in Fine Arts from Cerritos Junior College in Los Angeles in 1971 and a certificate in radio broadcasting in 1972. More recently, he underwent Emergency Medical Technician training in Indiana, and served for nine years as an EMT.

For several years, Brother Halyaman worked in the broadcasting industry as an announcer, television anchor, and News Director of several small market radio and television stations.


He and his wife, Sandy, reside in Warsaw, Indiana.
